I am able to recieve email on this machine. This error
message comes up when i try to send email error 0x800ccc13
(smtp server error). I am running 2000 outlook with IE
6.0 on a windows 2000 pro machine. The knowledge base
article refences this error message to OL2002 and that I'm
running Outlook Express. I have re-installed tcp/ip.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

General error description: 0x800CCC13 SOCKET_WRITE_ERROR Unable to read
Winsock reply.

Possible reasons:

This behavior may occur if the versions of Outlook Express and Microsoft
Internet Explorer are not the same. Outlook 2002 relies on several files
that Outlook Express installs and uses.
