Still having a problem getting connected to Pac Bell's DL line. I get a 769
Error? "Specified destination not reachable." "Specify remote acess server
or new destination".
Anyone have a clue on what I should do?
Not much you can do. The PB download server is unreachable. Until it's
fixed on their end, all you can do is wait.
Suggestion: Try a different route to their downloads. Perhaps backup to one
of their main pages and then follow the download links. Try from a few
different pages as sometimes a link is current on one page but outdated and
invalid on another.
The MS Knowledge Base has an article about this but the situation is
different than yours - no internet access instead of one inaccessible site
- so it does not apply. Just in case you want to look at it anyhow:
