3M NFI Keeps beeping after restart

I have SP2 and using a 3M NFI screen. Sometimes after a reboot my
motherboard makes the beep sound when I touch the screen. The registry
key that controls this beep setting is:

[HKEY_USERS\S-1-5-21-1355907263-1112436174-2584740992-1000\Control
Panel\MtsTch\USB287d88c6]
"AudibleClick"=dword:00000000

This option when set to 0 disables the sound, as the Microtouch
application does when turning the beeping sound off. After a reboot and
this sound comes up the registry key is still set to 0.

To turn off this beep then you can simply open up the Touchware
application and it disables the sound. It seems to apply this registry
key. Thus I am thinking that on booting on XPE it does not always apply
this registry key. It is crucial that my units in the field never beep
when the touchscreen is being touched.

Is anyone else having this problem, and prehaps is a problem with a SP2
patches of up to November 11, 2005? It has also come to my attention
that the image I have been using has been resealed 3 times.

The mts application from 3M at startup of XPE was not loading, thus not
applying the registry settings. I think this is due to resealing the
image one to many times? Anyhow uninstalling and then installing the
usb driver and touchware application fixed the problem.
