Hello,
I first tried posting my issue on the Media Center group but haven't
been able to find a solution:
http://groups.google.com/group/micr...792b696dd22/19d403191460ae65#19d403191460ae65
I think my issues are all inter-related and go beyond Media Center.
Issue 1: Media Center gives Error Codes 14 & 33 when trying to
download the latest version of the Channel Guide.
Issue 2: When I go to Date/Time in the Control Panel, to the Internet
Time tab, and click "Update Now" I receive the error "An error has
occurred getting the status of the lat synchronization. The handle is
invalid"
Issue 3: When I go to microsoft.com and look for updates, the page will
never move from "Checking latest updates on your computer" with the
scrolling green bar, and never move from there.
A summary of what I've already tried:
* Deleted everything in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application
Data\Microsoft\eHome\EPG and re-ran the Media Center Guide Wizard
* Defrag
* Check Disk
* ping time.nist.gov
*Un-installed PC-cillin and same problems existed
The machine is only 2 months old so I hate to think of wiping it and
starting all over again so soon... if anyone has any other suggestions,
it would be much appreciated.
Regards,
Angie
