3 computers to share favorites

TK

Is there any way to have a "common" favorites folder for 3 computers, all of
which have XP PRO. They network without trouble.
I would be happy to have an easily accessible folder on one of the computers
which could be copied across to the others when required.
My attempts to change the location of the folder in the Registry were mixed.
I was successful on one only. On the others the Registry change was made,
apparently successfully, but it alway went back to default.
Thanks

Use Tweakui to change the location of the Favorites.

Thanks Ramesh.
While I am used to changing disk letters thru the Disk Management system,
e.g. my CD types are Y and Z., I must confess I don't know how to map a disk
letter to a file.
Please help.
Thanks.

Another option for the syncing might be
SyncToy V1.1 from Microsoft. - released 14/03/2006
It is now supporting UNC paths
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...54-C975-4814-9649-CCE41AF06EB7&displaylang=en

I have been using FavoriteSync for a while and it is a reliable service.
Allows syncing to any PC, anywhere and also keeps your favorites on their
server so they can be accessed from anywhere.
http://www.favoritesync.com
It can be used for free.

Thanks Mark. SyncToy might be the better option than Offline Files.
