Shouldn't do - it's never happened to my knowledge on any new install from a
prior version BUT, as in all these cases it could happen, so backup your pst
file first. (Which you should be doing on a regular basis anyway....)

If you haven't changed the location, your pst file is in
C:\Documents and Settings\{your username here}\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Outlook\
