Will I lose emails if i upgrade to 2007?

I'm thinking of upgrading to Office 2007 on my business computer but I'm
afraid I'll lose my emails and contacts. Will this happen or will 2007
automatically import contacts and emails from Office XP? Any help would be
appreciated.

It automatically imports all contacts and migrates everything over flawlessly.

No problem. I just did the migration on a corporate computer using a retail
CD about 15 minutes prior to your question. It only needed CD 1 for the
upgrade to the entire Office 2007 Pro.

Might want to check your facts before posting replies based on the anecdote
of one user. In place upgrades of Outlook rarely if ever work well when the
data store is a PST file. A new Outlook profile and reconfiguration of the
Outlook Address Book Service will be required at a minimum with an in place
upgrade.

It won't import them, but it should simply reconnect to your existing data.
However, making a backup prior to upgrading is always a good idea.
