1+ Windows popping up

H

Heather

This is what I use to access more than one site at a time.
As in, I open one window to get on Google and then click
to open a different window for another site... Just a few
days ago, I clicked on a link at a site, and instead of
it popping up in a new window, it stayed on the same one.
(If that makes any sense)

I can't open more than one window at a time anymore; no
matter how many timesI click the Internet Explorer
button, it just refreshes to the same window.

In IE go to Tools>Internet Option>Advanced(tab)> look for a line that says
"Reuse windows for launching shortcuts"..check the box in front of it...may
have to re-boot

If you installed Yahoo Companion, remove it.

I am having this same problem. I have tried "Reuse windows fo
launching shortcuts" both, checked & unchecked & it makes n
difference. I can not have 2 websites open at the same time. Also,
do not have Yahoo Companion installed. Anyone have any other info o
this

H Leboeuf is right! I didn't think I had Yahoo Companion installed
but I looked & did. I removed it & IE works like a charm! Remov
Yahoo Companion if you are having this problem
