zune not responding

I got a new 4gb zune and i installed the software. When i went to synch the
zune a message saying i need to be connected to the internet popped up, i was
connected. the message said if you are connected to the internet abnd the
device does not update try again later. Well i have....many times over the
past two or three days. What should i do to make the zune work? thanks
