I am keep getting the following error:
zrnsw.exe has generated errors and will be closed by
windows. You will need to restart the program. An error
log is being created.

Did some one experienced it before?

I don't know what that file is. Have you searched for the file name on your
computer? Do you run good antivirus software (kept updated)?

I can't find any reference for that file anywhere. Are you sure you
spelled it correctly? I suggest you run an up to date virus scan as
well as an up to date AdAware scan to eliminate the possibility of virus
and spyware or malware.

Could it be that the "nsw" portion of the filename refers to "Norton
System Works"?

John

Thanks for the reply,
the file is located in my c:\winnt\system32 folder.
I do run Norton Anti Virus and just ran a "live update"
yesterday + a virus scan.

Now I got another error:
BGDW.EXE...(with the same language)
Am I being royally attacked by viruses?

I can't find any reference for the file on the Symantec site. Did you
do a spyware scan (AdAware or Spybot Search & Destroy)?

When does the error happen? What applications/process/services are
running when it happens? What do you have in your registry run keys?
It could be that the file is a valid exe for one of your programs but I
don't know. Try moving the file to a temp location and see if anything
goes awry or if it fixes things.

John

Can't find anything for that either. Look at what is running in the
background. And DO AN ADAWARE SCAN!

John

Actually, this sounds similar to a situation that I faced last week. One of
our receptionists couldnt use her comp because of popups and other junk...
Its a simple step, but dont forget to troll throught "add / remove programs"
to look for anything "odd" that might be in there. one piece of malware can
install dozens of other programs. remove, reboot. repeat if necessary.

Good point. A lot of times we forget the simplest and most obvious of
things to do, we think it's a big complication when it can be a minor
thing to fix.
