'Zooming' in Access RT

R

Robin

Hi

I've just put Access runtime 2007 on users' PCs. When entering data into a
'notes' field they are accustomed to using the 'zoom' facility (shift+F2).
This doesn't seem to work in Access RT 2007 - am I missing something?

Thanks

I don't have a copy of Access runtime 2007 to test it, but I believe the
Zoom method, used in code, works fine with the runtime, and that it is only
the user-interface key-strokes that are not supported. It can be a little
disconcerting to some, but Zooming a field in the "GotFocus" event is not
all that uncommon.

Thanks for that Larry.

I did that. I called the ZoomBox from code on a 'GotFocus' - worked fine on
my machine, but no luck on the run-time...no error, just nothing...

I guess I'l just have to build a custom box as a pop up form (which is a
pain as the database has a *lot* of 'notes' fields)
