Zoom options no longer include text width or full page. Why?

I am using Word 2002. Inexplicably, I am no longer permitted the zoom
options of text width or full page, both of which I'd used routinely in the
past. Documents I created in the past still permit this option. Apparently
I've inadvertently reset some default and I have no idea how to reset it.

I can't speak for Word 2002, but I have them in Word 2003 (though only in
Print Layout view--not in Normal view).
