Zone Alarm stops me from going to MS update site

The only way I can go to the MS update site, is to shut down the ZoneAlarm
program. It drives my nuts. I looked at all kinds of settings, and still
can't figure this out. Could one of you smart people please please have
mercy with an old man, and give me a hint where I can go in Zone Alarm's
settings so I can go to the MS update site w/o turning it
off........grandpa Peter

All you have to do is go to the ZA "Privacy Tab" and turn everything off.
After you have the updates, turn back on what you will.

Try adding update.microsoft.com to Privacy Site.

You may need to do the followings:-

1]Open Zone Alarm and click the "Privacy" tab.

2]Turn off ALL privacy options.

3]Restart the system and retry the Windows Update page.

a charm, clicked the items to off, under privacy, then on again. I'm in
