Zone Alarm Question

John Ski

My daughter inadvertently chose the Zone Alarm Pro 15 day evaluation that the
latest update offers as a marketing gimmick. Anyone know if there's a way to
return to the free version without uninstalling/reinstalling or alternatively,
what happens when the 15 day period expires?

TIA,
John

I just updated Zone Alarm too and saw the same offer. According to the
instructions at the end of the trial period you will be given the
opportunity to revert to the free version. I can't confirm because I didn't
take the evaluation but that's what it said.

Visit www.zonelabs.com and you'll find that they have some
FAQs and help pages. The eval version should roll=back to
the free version, they are the same install package. They
just issued a new update the other day, do the update and
select the clean install. You'll be offered the choice of
the Pro version or the free version, select free.

The free version works fine.

The easiest answer to that is in your computer now. Just use System Restore
to go back.
