zone alarm disconnects messenger

hello

since installing zone alarm pro ,msn messenger (version
6) will not connect..but if i turn off zone alarm,
messenger works fine.and id rather have zone alarm
running all of the time .
im running Xp pro ,pentium 4. im also a novice with
computers . any help greatly appreciated.

click on zone alarm in system tray then go to prgram
control and place a check in each space under access and
server I am assuming that they now have a X. If you
click on each X it will allow you to change it to a check.
