Zipping Secured Access Database

I have a user that wants to zip a secured MS Access 2003 database and burn to
CD. He's using WinZip software. When he adds the DB to the zip file it does
not compress. The same database unsecured compresses. Anyone know why that
is? Is there a way to get it to compress and still be secured?

It's not the security but the fact that it is also encrypted. Encrypted
files have all the bits jumbled up and so don't compress. You can secure a
file without encrypting it, but I believe if you secure with the wizard that
it encrypts it at the same time.
