zip/unzip file

i downloaded a manual that said it was zipped i then saved this to my
computer and when i tried opening this it was just a load of symbols, i am
using windows me and trying to open document in word, any suggestions?

You've reached a newsgroup dealing with the use of tables in designing MS
Access relational databases. Have you tried looking for newsgroups about
zipped files?

Do you have a zip/unzip program installed?

Have you tried going to Google.com and searching?
