Zip Tools

Hello everybody.
I've got a directory with a lot of files and I have to zip each one of them
individually. Is there a tool that does this?
I've got Izarc but it seems to me that it creates only an archive with all
files inside (and that's not what I want).

You could create a separate archive for each file.

You could create a separate archive for each file.

I think that's what he wants to do -- but with a tool to make it as
quick and easy as possible

WinRAR does. It's an option in the create-an-archive dialog.

RipZip will create a seperate archive for each file.

When you gzip a folder, each file in the folder is gzipped separately.
gzip is incapable of creating a (combined) archive.
If you are interested, Ithink Win-gz provides an easy UI.

Big Speed Zipper does this as one of its backup options, as well as
presenting zipped files and another folder as 2 directories in a
2 pane style explorer interface.

Whoops. You're right. It's still shareware and, if used for free, functions
as nagware with some functions, as I understand.

IZArc does everything compression I have ever wanted to do. I have been
using it for a long time without any problems whatsoever. Great freeware!
