ZIP libraray

Hi all!

I'm looking for a ZIP library/assembly that I could use in my projects. The
library should be able to encrypt ZIP archives. I've already tried several
command line tools, but I would appreciate a more 'integrated' solution.

Any suggestions?

Have you looked at

you're comfortable with the licensing, its a pretty good product.

ComponentOne offers a ZIP library. I'm not sure if it handles password
protection, but they do expose a stream based API, which you could wrap
using the cryptography classes provided by .NET

I know its not technically free, but if you download the Visual Basic .NET
Resource Kit, you can get a free license.

The controls will work with C# as well.

The C# language doesn't have any classes that let you manipulate Zip files, but since .NET-targeted languages can share class implementations, and J# exposes classes in the java.util.zip namespace, you can get to those classes in your C# code.
