zip file

I was wondering if you can set the windows exploere settings so that when you
are browsing files and click on a zip file in the folders tab on the left
hand side, the contents do not show up on the right-side window. The main
reason for zipping files is so that I don't have to look at the contents
everytime, but windows explorer browses the contents slowing me down. Please
let me know~

The solution is to NOT SELECT it if you don't want to look in it.

Well don't you sometimes click on the file by mistake? I do that from time to
time and was wondering if I could shut down the exploring function entirely.
