Hey:

I've accidently associated zip files to be "opened with" adobe reader and I
can't figure out how to restore them to original.

Thank you

Right click on a file, choose run with, select the choose
default program. Locate the program you have installed for
zip files.

What is the default program? Nothing about zip files appear in the options.
Only things like WordPad, paint etc.

Guess it did work after the second boot up. Thanks.

When you "choose" look for the "browse" button .

Sorry for the confusion. Yes, your reg. file worked fine but I was curious
what Jim was trying to say, which I still haven't figured out yet. I am
using the built in ZIP feature in Vista. I accidently clicked "Open with..."
and now when I click on my zip folders, they not only have an Adobe icon,
Adobe opens and gives an error message. So I wanted to change back to the
default icon and default response, so when I double click a zip folder it
will open and display its contents.
