Zip Code Map

I need outlines of zip code areas similar to the outline of a city, state or
national map. The map of the zip code can be blank inside the area as long
as the outer boundaries are clearly marked in the shape of that particular
zip code.

For example, each state in the US has a unique shape or outer boundary and I
need something similar for zip codes. Any suggestions on where to look?

I think you will find that you will more than like have to pay a fee for this, since the Postal
Service has guideline for the use of Zip Codes, especially if you want current up-to-date zipcode,
and in most cases zip code related products are sold on a subscription basis, unless integrated into
a application where the users can not export the zipcode.

Thanks to everyone that helped. I'm sorry if I overstated my need. I just
need a few zip codes in California so I can save them as images and then
link to them. I did try Google but couldn't find just an ordinary outline of
a zip code.

check your local state/county gov. websites...a lot of them have zip code maps posted, you could link to them or use them to create your own.

Google it, you'll see what I mean.

- scan the page in and make it an image map

Henry,
If you are going to do this a couple of times, you may
want to think about purchasing a mapping program. MS
MapPoint may be able to do this, It just depends on how many
you need to map out. I have done this using up to 8. Here
is a link to one using 5 zip codes.
