Some how my preferences have been changed. When in any program and I go
to open or save a file in that program the window that opens has the
list of files listed alphabetically but they are listed from z to a not
from a to z. I then click arrange to switch and it does. I would like
to know how to make that change permanent.

Open My Computer and arange files by name
Tools menu > Options
View Tab
click on Like Current folder
close my computer
Now every time you open and folder it will show as you
like it.
