YouTube virus?

As of yesterday(10/5) I been having a problem playing videos in youtube.

I get the error msg:
"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of Adobe's
Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."

Now i went through all the help I saw, updated flash player, uninstall and
reinstall flash, clear cache and temp files etc

It looked like it worked in that the videos would play but then when I
logged into youtube I get the error again.

In short if I am not logged into youtube the videos play fine but once I
log in they won't play. If I log out they play fine again.

I have this problem with Firefox and IE.

I did a virus scan, Spybot scan and adaware scan. Searched google and found
nothing.

Any ideas???

TIA

Did you check to see if this is true?
Yes,,,that's not the problem as when I'm not logged in the videos work.

I created another login to see if I had the same problem and with my new
just created acct I am not having a problem...yet.

Logged in to what?
I created another login to see if I had the same problem and with my

Another login to what? Windows? Something else?

Reason I ask is because if I disable JavaScript in my browser
(everything else the same) and go to watch a YouTube video, I get the
text displayed:

"Hello, you either have JavaScript turned off or an old version of
Macromedia's Flash Player. Get the latest Flash player."

...which is exactly what you said. If I then enable JavaScript and
refresh the page, the video loads and plays.

And I have no 'login' to YouTube or anything else other than my OS
bootup login, which has been in use since the day I installed the OS.
