Your Exchange Server is Unavailable (Outlook 2003, Exchange 5.5)

Hi. I recently upgraded to Office 2003. I'm running Microsoft Exchange
5.5. I have several profiles set up in my outlook. A few of them
connect to the Exchange server and a couple of them are personal
"internet email" accounts. When I first open Outlook, I am able to
access my Exchange mailbox. However, if I close Outlook and try to
connect to my Exchange mailbox again (or any of the other Exchange
mailboxes), I get the message "Your Microsoft Exchange Server is
unavailable" (Retry, Work Offline, Cancel). I've tried select Retry
several times and it does not work. I am able to open my Internet
Email profiles and access mail fine. I am also able to access my
Exchange mailbox from another computer anytime.

Generally, the only way for me to access my Exchange mailbox again is
to reboot. Sometimes if I close Outlook, wait 20 minutes or so, then
try to access my exchange mailbox it will work fine. I've closed
Outlook, waited 10 minutes, tried to open Outlook and still get the
error.

I've gone to the Outlook - exchange profile settings to reset the
mailbox (Control Panels --> Mail...). Using the IP address of the
exchange server, it resolves the name and mailbox, but I still get the
error message once I actually try to open Outlook.

I haven't had luck finding info on Microsoft's site on this issue.
Does anyone know what is causing this? Becuase it eventually works or
a reboot works, I thought maybe a process is hanging up on my system -
taking a while to shut down. I can't find a process to manually shut
down that would be causing it. I would appreciate any advice.

Thanks!
