You have one message

Hello
When I start (boot) my computer, the welcome screen shows that I have one message
This has most probably to do with Outlook & e-mail, right
I do however not have any message whatsoever that is unread

Can somebody show me the light please

One solution: Download TweakIU (It's free) from Microsoft.
Open it and expand the Logon item. Click Unread Mail item.
Uncheck Show unread mail on Welcome screen.

MS site, search for and download Power Toys. Sorry about

Outlook Express and Windows Messenger control this count. See
