Cannot receive email from Outlook 2003, get the message on clicking
send/receive,
'you don't have the appropriate permission to perform this operation'.

Have you rebooted? If so and it didn't help, delete the *.srs file at
C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
