I can not get Outlook to work whenever I try to send & receive, I get
the following error message: "You don't have appropriate
permission to perform this operation"

I have uninstalled & reinstalled Outlook, several times,
deleted & added profiles and e-mail accounts several
times, but I can't get it to work.

When I'm in the e-mail account set up, and do "test
account settings" everything works, and it does send a
test message.

i am logged on as administrator.

I have seen this problem several times, in other
newsgroups, but it either goes unanswered, or when
answered, the remidy does not work for me. Please help.

Kind regards

One thing I would check is to make sure your emails are being delivered to
your true inbox and not to a .pst file stored locally somewhere. You can do
this by clicking on the tool menu --> E-mail Accounts --> View or Change
existing accounts and make sure that it is delivering email to your inbox and
not a personal folder or something like that.

Good Luck,
Mike

That doesn't appear to be my issue
