When I try to sign in I get this error message:
"You cannot use Messenger at this time because your
contact list is not avaliable PLease try again later
Click help to learn more about your contact list
0x81000378"

IS this some kinda virus? because...in the error
message "avaliable" is actually spelt wrong
as "availalbe".

Please help... and thanks in advance!

No it's not a virus, it's a typo in the application. Just sign in again later (the service
is actually down at this exact moment).

LOL... Good observation! According the the service status, MSN is currently
experiencing difficulty. So no, I don't think its a virus.
