Yet another desktop wallpaper changer search....

P

Peter Jetson

I'm looking for a simple desktop wallpaper changer, for XP if it
matters. All I want it to do is run at system startup, randomly choose
a .bmp file from a specified folder and set it as the wallpaper, and
then exit completely.

I've downloaded and tried lots of wallpaper changers, and haven't yet
found one that does exactly this. Often, the program will require me to
specify the files it will choose from (as opposed to the folder), or the
program will want to stay resident and change the wallpaper
periodically.

Can anyone suggest anything?

Thanks, Peter

Peter,

I have written a program that does exactly what you want. It's only 5 KB.
E-mail me (take out the TAKEOUT) if you're interested.

Regards,
Eric
