Yellow warning sign by driver

Keep getting blue screen crashes. In device mgr I have a warning yellow sign
beside the Trident Video Accelerator Blade3D/ProMedia. Under resources it
says Not working Code 10. What does this mean? could this be the cause of
crashes? I have tried to uninstall but when I reboot, it is exactly the same.
I have also tried an update but it fails to do anything. I am very new to
computing & after reading some of the replies in the thread, I feel a bit
daunted!! If you can help please use an idiots guide. Thanx in advance

Code 10
If the device has a FailReasonString value in its hardware key, that
string appears as the error message. The driver or enumerator puts this
registry string value there. If there is no FailReasonString in the
hardware key, you receive the following error message:

This device cannot start. (Code 10)

Recommended resolution

Device failed to start. Click Update Driver to update the drivers for
this device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click
Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard.

Dear Gerry, Thankyou for your reply. I have tried to update driver as you
suggested but I cannot do so as the wizard asks me to install a driver CD. To
be honest I am not sure what to do as this CD only seems to apply to the
NVIDIA GeForce which is also installed. I have also tried
http://www.soft32.com/download_170947.html which I found whilst trying to
help myself, and whilst it comes up with the correct driver, it will not seem
to download it. I really am at my wits end. Any further suggestions, or do I
sling the whole thing through the window?!!! Once again, thankyou for your
time
