Yellow Triangle

Hi,
For a while now I have noticed on installing an operating system that a
Yellow Triangle appears on the Notification Bar. It has an exclamation mark
in the centre and nothing else. if you left click the triangle it
dissapears, if you right click it dissapears. any ideas what this could be?
Maybe a network issue?
