Yet Another Email Client (that really is it's name) updated today on

BUT when I try to run it I get "Integer overflow", it locks up so I cannot
get out without restarting my pc.
Look as if it might be good if you can get it to work.

Hello,
Yet Another Email Client (that really is it's name) updated today
on MajorGeeks BUT when I try to run it I get "Integer overflow",
it locks up so I cannot get out without restarting my pc.

who are you writing to? Yes, I can use Google, but why don't you
provide just a useful link (as you do believe, we don't know this
program, because you explain it's name)?

Don't you think, your problem should be posted to the developer
instead of to this freeware newsgroup?
Look as if it might be good if you can get it to work.

Me? I should get it to work? Why me? I'm with Thunderbird!

Please tell us, what advantages this program has...

What OS are you using Jim? It works fine for me on WinXP SP-2.

It's a very nice and fully featured mail client, BTW.

Strange as it may seem there are other people in the ng who are a tad
less grumpy than you.
All I wanted to do was to warn folk that they should perhaps avoid this
beta for a while, BUT that what I saw of it before it went beeswax, was
that, since I last looked at YAMC it has developed towards being an
office package with built in Calendar, notebook and..... well I never did
find out.
I have contacted the programmer on the site you kindly found and will
have a look at the previous version in the meanwhile.
I too use Thunderbird for mail, but god forbid that anyone should use it
for news.

Hi Bob

Same OS as you.
However I did set it up with an old email address which has thousands of
spam-mails. Perhaps this was too much for it.

sorry, my intention was not to harm you.

A warning is always welcome, but as your post addressed also
people who wasn't aware of this program before, like me, I was
disappointed, because I would like to read why this is a program
I should take a look at (on a later release version). And with
no feature mentioned, no url given, that post was useless for
me. But no reason, to overreact like that.

Yes, teddy is a nick I got often in the past, this time a
grumpy one, but that really wasn't my intention.

Sorry,
Thorsten

Hi Jim,

Google [yamc integer overflow] will make jump to

I think mine 'went' when I opened the calendar. And I use the XP default
theme. :o(
