I am using MSN Premium and I followed the instructions on the Microsoft
website to set up the Yahoo pop3 server so I can check my Yahoo email from
MSN Explorer. Every time I try to open my Yahoo inbox in MSN Explorer it says
the password is incorrect and prompts me to enter a new one. I tried retyping
the password but I had no luck. It would be very convenient to be able to
check all my email through MSN Explorer instead of having to go to several
websites to do it. Please help!

No, I have the privacy set to medium.
I have another pop3 email address set up on MSN Explorer and it works. Just
Yahoo doesn't work.

Do you have the free Yahoo mail account or the paid subscription one? I'm
not sure you can pop from the free account.

Yes you can pop from the free account, however you need to enable it first.
This may be done through web mail in the options page.

Make sure you have the right server name for your pop3 mailbox (country
specific i think). Also make sure you have entered your account name (the
bit before @yahoo.com) and the password correctly.

I looked and all I saw was an area to add pop3 servers to the Yahoo mailbox.
I am trying to view my Yahoo mail in an email client. I double checked the
server names but it still keeps telling me the password is incorrect. I
retyped the password but I still keep getting the message.

Stalker81598,
If you have a "@yahoo.com or @yahoo.ca" mail acct, you need to pay Yahoo, to have POP mail access to that acct.

Info from the following site:
http://help.yahoo.com/help/us/mail/pop/pop-40.html

The ability to access Yahoo! Mail via a POP3 email client (such as Outlook or Outlook Express) is only available to customers of our premium Yahoo! Mail Plus service. If you have not purchased the Yahoo! Mail Plus service, you will be unable to retrieve messages via an email client

There is a work around, by installing YPops (formally know as YahooPops).

YahooPops ver. 0.5:

This version is the one I prefer, I had issues with the latest version, "version 0.6" .

YahooPops ver. 0.6:
