yahoo blocked

It's caused by Yahoo's limitation for free Yahoo accounts.
US-based free Yahoo accounts have webmail access
only, no POP access. Windows Mail handles POP mail but not Yahoo webmail.
Yahoo's solution is to pay for premium "Mail Plus" service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/overview/index.html
and use the special settings for that service:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/original/mailplus/pop/pop-14.html

If you are OK with using a non-Yahoo email address, you have these other
solutions that will work with Windows Mail:
* Use the email address assigned to you by your ISP.
* Use a free Gmail, AOL, or Hotmail/Live account.

If you need more help with any of these solutions, just ask.

Torres family,
Another free option you have with Yahoo.com & yahoo.ca accts, is to retrieve
mail your mail through Yahoo's Asia mail servers. You will need to login on each
Yahoo Account, and change the site Preferred Content from US to Asia. You still
will be able to use (e-mail address removed) or (e-mail address removed) . You may or may
not be able to use third party Spam filter programs that you use for your other
email accounts, that you have installed on your PC. I used to use, and recommend
"YPOPS", but for me it stop working, this new method seems to do the trick for
now. How long will it work, I don't know.

The detailed instructions can be found at:
