Yahoo and Windows Mail

I have the yahoo plus email account. I have tried to set it up in Windows
mail. I can send an email but when I try to receive email I get the
following error: Account: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com', Server: 'pop.mail.yahoo.com',
Protocol: POP3, Server Response: '-ERR popgate unknown command', Port: 995,
Secure(SSL): Yes, Server Error: 0x800CCC90, Error Number: 0x800CCC18.

Does anyone have any ideas as to how to correct this?

Try going to tools, accounts, select the yahoo acct., got to Servers and
clear the box that says this server logon using secured password
authentication. it worked for me
