X's in website windows

I just upgraded to Windows XP and now have problems
with certain websites.
There are boxes with red X's in them that should
contain links and or pictures. But only on
a few websites. Most websites function perfectly.
Any help appreciated.

kinda sounds like an add blocker at work. try this hold
down ctrl button while site is loading disable popup
blocker or right click on x"s
