XP's System Restore question

I've turned off system restore because I will be installing Norton
Ghost 10 soon. When I did that, did system restore automatically
delete all its restore files? If not, how do I find out where they are
stored and how do I delete them so that I can recover the wasted
space?

Thanks.

Yes.

However you should reconsider turning off System Restore. I wouldn't think
of Ghost as a replacement for it. They have two different purposes and
complement each other.

Ghost is a good tool for backing up everything on the drive, but System
Restore is a very useful tool to get you out of trouble if you need to
revert the operating system to the state it was in yesterday or a few days
ago.
