Hi All,

have 3 systems identical to install xppro oem version on. tried to look at
the xp oem pre-install tools, but too much involved and don't have all the
machines required to do it.

can i install a copy on one system, then clone the drive to the other
systems using ghost, and then us sysprep to reset the product # on the other
2 systems so i can activate the software properly.

or is there another tool to allow me to reset the product number on the
other 2 systems,
can this be done ????

any thoughts greatly appreciated
thanks
Peter

In figuring this out, you could have installed all three at one time by now.
=)

Are you going to have to redo these often or is this a one-time thing?
If one time, my statement stands. Plug them all in, install on each of
them at the same time. You would be done by the time you get this, likely.
If multiple times, maybe something like the http://unattended.msfn.org/ web
page would help you redo your CD to something more automated.

Ghosting the OEM version is likely NOT an option, at least not much of a
time-saving one in your case. Three machines..
