XPE locale question

I set my Time Zone Property to US Pacific Time in my XPE image,
however, each time when I launch Internet Explorer, and type
www.google.com, it automatically jumps to Google Nederland. But this
doesn't happen on XP Pro. Is this related to some default settings in
XPE?

Thanks!

mike-ca,

I've seen similar issues when not all required codepages were added to the image.
See if you have added the only English Language Support component with all the codepages checkboxes set there.

Just a note: when traveling to Ottawa Canada recently, I didn't change my
time zone in my XP Pro laptop, and I still get Google Canada. It might be
ISP related and not OS specific.

Must admit it didn't happen to me a few months ago when I went there. (with XP Pro on laptop)
Perhaps a different ISP.

In any case it is going to be easy to verify. Just open up google.com on XP Pro machine connected to same provider :)
