XPE and VS2005

Hi all,

trying to install and play with VS2005 on a new machine... Installing XPE
toolkit, and I am running into issues with DB installing to SQL2005 Express
edition... assuming that one can install DB on this version of SQL...
service says it's running, but the installer can't find the DB for some
reason.

any ideas? (not a VS or SQL guru or anything) :-)
