XPE and VC++6.0

Hi all.

I'm trying to develop my program on my desktop in VC++6.0, them install it
on XPE.
I did install VC on XPE.
But when I try to compile file I see "Error spawning 'vcspawn'. The build
could not be performed".

I don't know what to do with this.
Does anybody know how to solve this problem ?

Hi Terry,

You are not the first one that want to do that. Although remote debugging from remote VS is far much better option if you have
network and second computer since it will not influence image size. And you will know that all required things are in your image
because you entered them in TD and not because VS installed them.

Terry,
You might also try using the Dependency Walker, Regmon, and Filemon. You
can get Regmon and Filemon from
http://www.sysinternals.com/ntw2k/utilities.shtml
Additionally, Mike Hall has a nice video outlining application development
for the embedded environment.
