You can keep ZoneAlarm with SP2. You should have SP2 (you can turn off the SP2
firewall). Some info to assist you in deciding whether or not you wish to have SP2

And just to specifically answer the last question, the XP firewall is fully
integrated but it can be turned off. It will be turned on by default when
you install SP2 but you should see an option to turn it off. Conversely,
you can go to Control Panel, open the Security Center and turn it off from
there.

Theres a lot more to SP2 than the firewall, so yes you do
need it and when you do have it installed you wont worry
too much about your zonealarm FWall, SP2 has all that
covered far better and a lot more easier to config as
regards firewalling,SP2 is not selective take it or leave
it, i would take it

The firewall in SP2 neither blocks nor alerts the user to outgoing
communications. Hence, he's better off using his current firewall, Zone
Alarm than the XP firewall.
