When you update to sp2 using automatic updated you will
need to get the new i386 directory to add new windows
software and options - correct?

micky,

If your PC has a copy of an i386 folder on it to save you having to put the
CD in on the odd occasions when it may be requested - you will need to
update this folder with SP2 also. You can do this by making it a
slipstreamed folder.
See all the other posts on how to do a slipstreamed build.

Hi

As far as I know, the system will in most cases fetch the needed
files from the folder %windir%\ServicePackFiles\I386 (that SP2
have updated with it's files).

But it will not hurt to update any local I386 with the SP2 files
as well as Mike told you in the other post.
