XP ZIP Disapeared

J

Jason Wood

Hi there,

Until a few days ago, I was able to right-click on highlighted files
and send them to the ZIP (compress) program and it would instantly
create a single compressed file of the files highlighted....you know
the drill!

For some unknown reason, that feature has disapeared. All Right-Click
gives me now is to send it to the A:\ drive.

I've had a look on-line and executed fhe following command in the RUN
program...

regsvr32 %windir%\system32\zipfldr.dll

but to no avail.

(I love Microsoft and XP ... its so stable and it all works so well.)

Any advice would be greatfully appreciated!

Rgds.
Jason.

Hi Jason,

Do you get a "successful" message when trying to reregister the dll file?
Have you tried extracting a new copy of zipfldr.dll?
