xp wont shut down

I have win xp home with no issues until I installed map software program
called Tumonz. Straight after installing Tumonz windows would no longer
automatically shut down and will hang on blue shutting down screen until I
hold in the power button.

I have since uninstalled Tumonz and hoped uninstalling would fix the
problem, but no is still happening.

Computer works well in every other area, have Norton Internet Security and
Spyware tools all up to date, general performance is good apart from this one
issue.
Thank you very much.
