Xp wont pass logon screen

well after i downloaded and installed Kaspersky Anti-Virus my windows xp pro would no longer pass the log on screen well it does but it does not so the programs on my desktop. i tryed restoring and it doing several other things but it does not work plus its a custom pc. does anybody know any cmmands or anything like that i can do to make it work
 
and also my idle process says 100 even when i move the mouse and press buttons on the keyboard

Suggest you avail yourself of the nearest dictionary and look up the meaning
of the word 'idle'.
