xp wont load

I just formated my hard drive and installed 98se and know
my xp home will not load. I gets half way through the the
install and a blue screen comes up and says to uninstall
the hard drive. I did a scan disk and it came up with no
errors???

Perhaps copy down the exact error message and technical information.Also, maybe note as to how may minutes are remaining and what it is doing at the time (ie: Installing devices). May help us help you better.
