I do Windows XP Home it does the dos install, then when it boots up XP to
fiinish the install, it Blue Screens, it says:

sounds like a BIOS problem - perhaps IRQ-related
maybe just a bad motherboard??? Or bad IRQ chip(s)

I am having the exact same problem and was wondering if you tried the BIOS
upgrade sucessfully?? This is a PC that was given to me because the person
could not fix it so I am determined to fix it.

Thank you!!

Hey Eiellur,

This very much "appears" to be an issue at the motherboard level. You
should confirm that the latest bios version has been applied. If that
fails, then you should contact the motherboard vendor.
