Is my motherboard the cause of my problems? My chipset fan went out in my
motherboard and I didn't notice it until I had random crashes of windows. So
I re-installed windows and after about 20 attempts to re-install (random
crashes, hangs, etc.) got sp2 downloaded and installed. Now I can't boot
windows at all. I get the error message " Fault_Page_IN_Nonpaged_Area
0x0000050. Can't even boot in safe mode. Any ideas?

If you replaced the fan and you are still having problems then the
motherboard is most likely bad and needs to be replaced.

Have you replaced the CPU Fan on the motherboard? Oh, you called it a
chipset fan. If the CPU stops functioning and you don't realize it, then
parts on the motherboard can go bad.

Replace the Memory Cards on the motherboard.

Did you reformat and reinstall Windows or do a Repair of Windows?

After replacing the CPU Fan and Memory Cards, reformat and reinstall the
operating system, or restore an image file, you may have created.

It's time to replace the motherboard, most likely. Some chipsets are
very sensitive to over-heating.
